End-of-life product policy
ThermoSphere End-of-Life (EOL) Policy Overview
All products have defined lifecycles and may eventually be retired from the market. This may occur due to evolving customer requirements, technological advancements, product innovation, component obsolescence, or reduced market demand.
When a product reaches the end of its lifecycle, ThermoSphere will discontinue its sale, support, and maintenance services, including software updates and security patches where applicable.
Customers can refer to the ThermoSphere End-of-Life Product List for a complete and updated list of discontinued products. The product model and version number can be found on the product label or associated documentation.
If your product has been discontinued, we recommend transitioning to a current ThermoSphere product to ensure optimal performance, reliability, compatibility, and security.
EOL Policy Milestones and Definitions
End of Sales (EOS)
The End of Sales (EOS) date is the date on which ThermoSphere officially discontinues the sale of a product.
-
After the EOS date, ThermoSphere will no longer accept new orders for the product.
-
ThermoSphere will issue an End of Sales Notification approximately three (3) months prior to the EOS date to allow customers adequate time to plan.
End of Maintenance (EOM)
The End of Maintenance (EOM) date is when ThermoSphere ceases providing technical support, software updates, security patches, and routine maintenance services for a product.
-
After the EOM date, product functionality may be limited depending on system compatibility, integration requirements, or software dependencies.
-
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the EOM date will generally occur three (3) years after the EOS date.
-
ThermoSphere reserves the right, at its discretion, to extend maintenance support to address critical vulnerabilities or significant defects when necessary.
EOL Policy Details
ThermoSphere will publish upcoming EOS announcements and recommended migration or replacement options on the ThermoSphere website and/or through direct customer communication channels.
Once a product reaches its EOS date, new purchase orders will no longer be accepted.
Warranty Coverage
The EOM date does not impact the original product warranty.
-
ThermoSphere will continue to honour warranty obligations in accordance with its official Warranty and Returns Policy.
-
Hardware repairs or replacements will be provided for eligible products within the warranty period.
-
Warranty coverage remains valid based on the original purchase date and applicable regional sales terms.
For assistance with products under warranty, customers should contact ThermoSphere Customer Support.
Regional Availability
Available products, versions, and EOL timelines may vary by region due to distribution policies and regulatory requirements. Customers are encouraged to contact their local ThermoSphere representative for guidance on recommended models and replacement options.
