The brief: warmth that does not compete with the materials
Large format marble effect wall tiles, textured floor tiles and a deep wood vanity leave little room for clutter. Kallums Bathrooms designed the space as a calm place for the morning routine and the evening wind down. The heated towel product had to add warmth at the moment of leaving the shower or bath, and sit quietly against those materials.
Why electric towel bars suit a designed bathroom
They keep towels warm and dry, ready for the moment you step out. Being electric, they need no pipework or link to the central heating, so position can follow the design rather than the plumbing. They are also silent, which suits the mood of the room.
The materials palette
