The brief: warmth that does not break up the materials
The towel bars needed to warm towels beside the bath and shower without breaking up the marble, herringbone and glass. Kallums Bathrooms describe large format marble wall tiles, herringbone flooring, handmade Zellige tiles and a freestanding bath. Slim black wall mounted bars give the towels a warm place within reach, while the floor and the surfaces stay clear.
Why plan heating early in a two bathroom job?
Position and finish need settling before the tiling starts, so the electrical supply is planned alongside the wall build. Kallums’ second bathroom has an awkward first floor layout, where wall space is the limiting factor.

Electric heating heats quickly, which suits rooms that are not used all day. It is also easy to add to awkward layouts and retrofit projects. Underfloor heating has a low profile, adding only millimetres to the floor height.
