Combi Boiler
Making life easy
Installing Electric Combi Boiler is easy. Pre-plumbed with a pump and expansion vessel and pre-wired with a supply and control cable, it's a doddle. You’ll be in and out in no time.
Let’s get technical
Electric Combi Boiler installation is more straightforward than a gas boiler, but ensure the property has adequate electrical supply to handle the boiler’s demand and the water pressure meets the minimum requirement.

Install in the right location
Choose a well-ventilated, dry and easily accessible space for the boiler. Our wall-mounted model is ideal for small spaces, but the wall must be sturdy enough to support the weight. Avoid locations prone to extreme temperatures or moisture build up to protect the boiler components.

Testing and commissioning
Once installed, fill the system to 1.5 Bar, bleed all radiators to remove air pockets and prime the hot water system before wiring up. Conduct thorough checks for leaks. Set the power outputs and flow temperatures, adjust flow on the hot water circuit if required. Be sure to provide the homeowner with a demonstration and original documentation.

Installation kit - Extended warranty
Electric Combi Boiler installation with the ThermoSphere installation kit and register the system online to gain an additional 2 years on your warranty. The installation kit includes: Magneti filter, filling loop, system cleaner, inhibitor, auto bypass valve, isolation valves for all water connections, EPH Combi Control kit and a Caleffi 5LPM flow valve.

Plumbing first. Always.
Make all your plumbing connections. Pressurise and release air from the heating system, then prime the hot water circuit before you connect the boiler to the mains electricity. This will prevent any accidental dry running and keep your warranty intact.

Electrical supply
Electric combi boilers require a dedicated and correctly sized electrical circuit with surge protection. Always ask a competent electrician to provide the power supply to the boiler ensuring safe operation. We recommend installing a suitably rated RCBO near the boiler.

Volt free control
Electric Combi Boilers are pre-wired with volt free control wiring to make it easy to connect your chosen controls. This is ready to be connected directly to a volt free room thermostat or connected via a wiring centre.
