ThermoSphere Mesh is protected to IP68 standards which means it can be placed in zone 1 of a bathroom with no issues. The heating cables have a tough fluoropolymer coating on the outside and internal conductors, a continuous armoured earth sheath and multi-strand twin conductors. These types of system must be protected by a suitably rated RCD. ThermoSphere Membrane can be used as a fully waterproof solution which is ideal for wetrooms. Remember to install the thermostat away from water sources.
